Client Overview
Canadian International College (CIC) is a leading private university in Egypt with five academic schools serving over 10,000 students across two campuses in Sheikh Zayed and the New Administrative Capital.
The Challenge
CIC's leadership recognized a critical gap: while students excelled academically, they lacked the practical, career-ready skills increasingly demanded by employers. The university needed to:
- Fulfill Ministry of Higher Education L&D requirements
- Enhance student employability without disrupting academic curriculum
- Deliver scalable programs across multiple schools and academic levels
- Provide internationally recognized credentials
- Minimize operational burden on university staff
Traditional approaches — hiring external trainers for ad-hoc workshops or building internal programs — proved either too generic or resource-intensive.
The Solution
CIC partnered with IGS & Partners for a comprehensive L&D transformation using the turnkey microcredential model.
